I’ve always been the person that sees something on the shelf and thinks… “I can make that!” I don’t know if it’s a toxic trait or a gift, but that’s me in a nutshell. Who says there has to be rules when quilting? A good friend once said “You have to know the rules in order to break them” and I couldn’t disagree more. I say, just do it, learn as you go and make all the mistakes. There is so much magic in creating things from your point of view and if everyone followed the rules, quilting would be a lost art. So cheers to just going for it and learning along the way!
